Club members are those who purchased a membership to your club. Club members have access to the content you post and they can send you messages.
Followers are those who decided to follow you without purchasing a membership. Followers can only see your "teaser" posts and cannot message you, but your club (profile) shows up in their "Memberships" section, so they can choose to join your club at any point.
